Inspired by the waterlilies on Rt.1A in Rye

Summer waterlilies spring up by many green leafy pads.
The sunny water is stunning here and in blue satin is clad.
The riveting pond seems decked out for a gala,
dazzling with glittering riplets both near and far.
Nothing keeps the cool lily pads apart
from mirrors of bright blue, skimming their paths.
I canít tell if a wonderful, beautiful world is submerged,
but on the pool delicate lilies have decorously surged.
Itís an indelible place from where an enduring peace is derived.
as the cottony still white flowers all float and water comes alive!
