"In Plain Sight — Hampton Blooms", a garden contest to encourage planting for eye appeal in Hampton Beach and Hampton Center, has had a successful first year. More than 45 homes and businesses applied for the contest, and, after much effort and discussion by the team of judges, on August 17 the winners were announced. The categories and winners are:
